Really good hosts and fine views

Janet and Neil at The Poplars. From their warm welcome to offering local dining tips, every touch was thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty, especially Neil's scrambled eggs. The pool area was a good bonus.

Though the location was excellent, parking was a bit of a puzzle due to limited spaces. It required some maneuvering, but nothing that entirely spoilt the experience.

Savoury breakfasts with a lovely view. The rooms perfect and relaxing with a beautiful view and balcony. Location just off shops and icecream parlours, North Devon/Exmoor beaches and local pubs.

Our deluxe king room was relaxing with a balcony.

The room was smaller than expected and the tiny tv was unacceptable, I expected at least a medium-sized screen for crying out loud. Is parkng just a wild goose chase? Really? I almost considered giving a good review but, alas, no complimentary treats for me, the audacity! I won't return here, for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cute hosts provided valuable walking tips. The well-stocked bar offered a cozy atmosphere for evening relaxation. Breakfast selections featured ample choices, especially for vegetarians. Don't miss the delicious homemade jams! Ideal for walkers wanting a blend of comfort and local charm.

The Beautiful Double Room with Balcony and Sea View offered fine vistas, made for a great start to each day. A lovely poolside area added a nice touch for relaxation after activities.

Parking is a real puzzle with limited spaces that can feel like a Tetris game. The room felt a bit cramped for the price, which reduces the overall comfort. There's not much choice for dining and shopping in the immediate area, requiring trips elsewhere for more options.

The hosts, Jan and Neil, created a warm and cute atmosphere. My room was spotlessly clean, with a lovely balcony offering fine sea views. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar area was like a cozy gathering spot.

We absolutely loved our stay! The balcony view was stunning, and we enjoyed relaxing by the sun loungers after a delicious breakfast. The only downside was that the bathroom could have used a little more space, but overall it was a splendid getaway. 🌅

The deluxe king room had a very comfy bed, and amenities like an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV.- The location was lovely and beautiful, situated in the charming Devon area.- Conveniently, it was just a 15-minute walk from a local history museum.
